Hello! I'm Tim DaMour and welcome to my personal website. I am a software developer with a broad range of programming knowledge looking to learn and build experience in the tech industry. Can contribute to a team with strong research abilities and independent thinking.
ABOUT
I grew up in the city of Dearborn, in Southeast Michigan - Metro Detroit. Over the past two years, I have gained a great deal of knowledge in the field of information technology, specifically, web development. Through my educational experience at Henry Ford College, I have acquired additional skill sets by being exposed to various facets of the information technology industry, such as object-oriented programming, social media, and networking. During my time at Henry Ford College, I also gained experience in the industry through a co-op as a junior web developer in 2015. My second co-op was in the summer of 2016 for a local voice over Internet protocol start-up that focused more on information technology. After the summer of 2016, I tried freelancing and starting my own business. Those efforts did fall flat but I managed to pick up skills in the meantime and helped out friends with working on their sites. However in the fall of 2017, I was able to take part in a month-long Testing-Automation workshop at IBM in East Lansing. A month after that workshop ended, I was hired into IBM in December of 2017 where I am currently working at. All opportunities have been extremely rewarding for me as I grew both personally and professionally.
